GENETIC GUARANTEE
Your puppy is guaranteed free of genetic/congenital eye or hip problems for 2 years from date of birth as follows. The genetic/congenital problem must be one that affects the quality of life of the puppy/dog. If such problems resulting from this breeding occur during that time, the following must be provided to me in order to validate this warranty: a) I be notified immediately upon a veterinarian diagnosing there is a problem that affects the quality of life of life of your Malamute. If this occurs & it is correctable by surgery, AND you have such surgery performed, we will refund you the puppy's purchase price (excluding any shipping), or pay for the operation, whichever is less ~ OR you can apply the purchase price of your puppy toward another puppy of equal value free of charge (does not include shipping) when one becomes available. Reasonable veterinarian signed documentation w/diagnosis,x-rays, etc. describing the problem and corrective surgery performed be sent to me within 2 weeks of the procedure. If the problem cannot be corrected with surgery, & every reasonable alternative resource has been expended to correct the problem (supplements, exercise, etc) your puppy's purchase price (excluding shipping) will be refunded w/documentation. b) Documentation (receipts or labels) that our Malamute has been fed only good quality Large Breed Puppy Food until a minimum of 6 months, and thereafter, good quality Large Breed Dog Food since purchase. This is necessary because large breed puppies are more inclined to exhibit developmental bone problems if not fed foods controlling calcium, phosphorus and calorie levels in their diet which promotes good skeletal development. c) Documentation that all series of shots, worming and other regular veterinarian treatments for your area (heartworm, etc.) have been received by our puppy when due. ALSO documentation on weight of your Malamute at various stages of growth. (When you have a vet apt., they always weigh them and record it on your receipt. This is to ensure your malamute has not been allowed to become overweight, causing any developmental problems.) LIMITED AKC REGISTRATION - AGREEMENT TO NEUTER All our puppies are sold as and guaranteed to have Limited AKC Registration papers, which means you cannot breed nor show them in most AKC or AMCA events. Statistics indicate that neutered or spade dogs are healthier, and live longer, on the average two to three years longer. Some believe it also helps to perfect their temperament and behavior. This procedure should be done by the time your Malamute is 6 months old in order to validate this warranty. PLEASE…IF FOR ANY REASON, YOU FIND YOU CANNOT KEEP YOUR MALAMUTE, & NEED TO FIND ANOTHER HOME FOR IT, CONTACT US. IF WE CANNOT TAKE HIM/HER, WE WILL TRY TO FIND A PLACEMENT FOR THE DOG. |
